Alpinestars Motorcycle Gear
Alpinestars was founded in the early 1960s by Italian-born Sante Mazzarolo, a third-generation master leather craftsman whose work helped define modern motorcycling gear. Alongside his team, Mazzarolo pioneered some of the first purpose-built technologies for motorcycle footwear, including early off-road motocross boots.
In 1986, Sante’s son, Gabriele Mazzarolo, established Alpinestars USA in Los Angeles, California, expanding the brand’s global presence. By 2017, seven of the top ten MotoGP riders and eight of the top ten Supercross athletes were competing in Alpinestars gear.
